I'm very new to megasqurit, I bought a assemble v3 ECU. and will start running my wire very soon. my question is do I need to run resistor in line with my injector, if I'm using the v 3 board. I thought the v 3 came with the fly backboard installed so you would need the resistor. But a friend told me I still have to run them, Is this true. I will also be using the relay board.

Thanks for you help

You shouldn`t have to run resistors if the MS v3.0 you bought has the flyback circuit installed.....Set the PWM in Megature and go..
This should give you a better understanding of it.

Along the same lines.
My car has a factory resistor pack ((2)2k ohm resistors). What will happen if I leave it in? I was planning on removing it from the MS circuit.

Thanks Darrow

You can leave the factory packs installed and just make the appropriate settings as listed in the link above. MS will work with low or high Z injectors and with or without resistors, although not in every possible combination, like High Z and the wrong resistors.

On a related note, what is a good value to set the PWM value to if using a high impedance injectors on the V3.0 board? (I have Bosch "red top" injectors, 30lb....)

high imp. injectors do not require PWM. only low imp (peak and hold) injectors require PWM.
read this:
http://www.megamanual.com/v22manual/minj.htm#pwm

and turn your PWM value to 100% (turning PWM off) for your injectors.
