MAF

Post by jonfx4com »

With my limited experience I can't see any reason why it should not be possible to remove the MAP sensor and connect up a 0-5V MAF sensor and calibrate fuel on airflow instead of pressure. Am I over simplifying this? It would solve some problems I have with rapid changes of MAP on small throttle position changes on ITB's. Are there any plans for MS2 code to allow this and still have MAP to allow ignition advance control based on pressure.

I note in the INI files there are references to MAP, AlphaN and MAF for fuel computations but there seems to be no MAF functionality in megatune. Is this just a left over from some earlier experiment?

Jon,

Did you see this:

There are a number of MAF threads, if you do a search.

Not on the existing MS2 code The mod would be fairly straight forword but you will have to wait for the CAN software to come online to do it with ms2 code as shipped.
