On the way home it finally penetrated what you were telling me about the dynaS Outputs, which you know to be evenly spaced from the timing light, being used as Inputs to the microsquirt. Yet what I said about the inputs getting into the microsquirt is also true, so this is really starting to point to a bad component in your microsquirt. So again if you want send me the microsquirt to check out.

Microsquirt checked out fine. Added the offsetter circuit to VR 1 and everything works great!!!! Now to work on the fuel. Thanks everyone for the help. I have attached the offsetter circuit so if someone else has this problem its right here.

Just wanted to update this , I ran into the loss of dwell problem at around 4000 rpm. To make this work you would need to move the triggers past TDC. I will try it this winter, but for now switched to dyna ignition.

I hate to dig up this old thread, but I am researching information on running a Dyna S or Pro Trigger and wanted to know what the end result of this issue was.

Thanks,

JW

I installed a 12-1 missing tooth wheel on the crank with a vr sensor. the new dual spark mode looks like it should work. have not tried it though. I have been wanting to try it out with the dyna pickups. if I get around to it ill post the results

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I believe the dual spark will work, and I will be finding out in the near future. Trying to find out what the technical differences are between the Dyna S and the Pro Trigger, but can't seem to find any detail on that anywhere.
