The latest 2.87x will be loaded. I am hoping this will become 2.88 - a finished version before too long.

I have had my name on the waiting list for a MicroSquirt since February so I’m sure I’ll be getting one of the first ones. But, I need to have something in my hands within the next couple of weeks so that I will have the time I need to be ready for a race at the end of September. What are the chances? Should I just order another MegaSquirt instead? Really don’t want to miss the race.

The car, btw, is a 5/8 scale dragster powered by an intercooled, turbocharged, Suzuki Hayabusa motor making in the neighborhood of 350 hp. I’ve been running MegaSquirt for a couple of years but sold it last spring when I took the car apart for upgrades.

So I'm guessing the answer to my question is, go buy another "old" system.

We have the hardware in hand and ready to ship, but there have been some recent software issues, mostly with the Dual Spark option, that we want to resolve, so we can release it with the latest code, without any known glitches. That is the only holdup now, and I am working as hard as I can to resolve them. But since I don't know what the problem is, or even if there is a real problem under realistic conditions, I can't promise you a specific date. It could be next week, it could be next month, though I hope not.

As AL says, I have hardware ready, the only holdup is the dual spark code version. For those who are using uS for single ignition output and/or fuel we are ready to go, today.

In fact, the dual spark code works but there is a very random drop in the second channel, probably not enough for many to notice.

I have 12 ready to release to DIYautotune and another 50 behind this this weekend (plus 200 more for me to program the bootloader and perform testing). They will have the beta code T7 version (see the ms2 beta list) and of course can be reflashed with any of the MS2 firmware at any time.

I'm seconding this comment. I have a race coming shortly that I would like to use the uS on. So needless to say I'd like to get one in my hands asap to start tuning. :)

Thanks Everyone for all the work!

Hi Bruce and Al,

Congratulations for the work done! I can't wait to get a uS unit!

If my memory still working  , you put me on the list to have one of the first uS available. Shall I get a mail with details for payment or should I order direct from DIYautotune? Thanks,

Mitch

Contact Jerry or Matt DIYautotune for the purchase, I am sending them the first batch tomorrow, so they can ship early next week.
