Angelo, are you the admin from Swiss Moto Guzzi Forum ???
If yes, what are you doing here, old men
If no, are you sure about same core PCIII USB core like Ducati or Aprilia ? What kind of Ducati do you mean ? PC delivers also some sensor test tool with PCIII USB (when kit will be available)
Anyway, the delivered fuel map with Ducati or Aprilia can`t be the same like for a Moto Guzzi. So you can expect some difficulties when you let run the engine first time with a Ducati map
Perhaps engine will not start with a foreign map.
Guido
No, I am not the admin for the swiss moto guzzi forum.
I have not used a PCIII. But it is a generic core wich capture pulses from the factory ecu, and drive the injectors with modified (duration) pulses.
It is obvious that you can't use the Ducati or Aprilia maps. You have to built your own, wich suits your bike modifications.
The first run must be done with the zero map loaded, wich means that no modifications are done to the ecu pulses.
For example, a friend used a honda cbr600 PCIII on his aprilia V2 bike. With special maps, the PCIII was able to drive the two standard manifold injectors, and also drive two showers injectors. The shower injectors were activated only at high rpm and high load.

Due to cam driving sensorwheel, the rpm limit with 12000 rpm is not a problem for a moto Guzzi engine.
Grippo has tested till 12000 rpm and a big Guzzi engine will be destroyed when you run it above 9000 rpm (crank). Anyway, when the cam in a guzzi engine turns with 9000 rpm, the engine will be destroyed 9000 rpm before
I will wait till more results are available.
Just not tried, because I`ve tested before some stuff for data collection (VDSTS and TechEdge) but I`m not satisfied with the results.
Note: Please don`t buy products from TechEdge. They have are veryveryvery bad support and no guarante on their products.
When you will do a serious job here, you have to spend a lot of money and much more time. In the moment I don`t have both
Anyway, I assume Microsquirt is still not available ?
I`ve also investigated some time to check the Vers... project on the paper.
I Use the stock injectors (14 Ohm)
