Try these constants. I have a 1.8 16v with aba injectors and my car runs great. If everything is working mechanically then these settings will definitely get your car running. Hope this helps

cool i can get my car to idle for ~15 seconds, but if i press onthe throttle it will die.
I have my tps disconnected from ms because i had some issues with the signal counting.

my car wants to idle ~400 rpm instead of the 800 rpm it usually idled at... how can i fix this?

the ve table i am using is the one that comes with the megasquirt code.

here is my latest log...

my afterstart enrichment, i played around with the 19-24 range ... 20 seems to be good (gives the smoothest idle @400 rpm)

ok, i have been working on my car all day and i get get it to idle correctly. I have read the manual and worked on the afterstart enrichment but the idle still sucks!

Whenever i give it throttle the car just dies and the idle is extremely bumpy and erratic and low. i feel stuck now. one of my mech freinds said that it could be a vacuum leak but i checked all my connections and my car was running fine before ms.

the guys on here have helped me getting the car to start but i didnt know i would run into this issue. meh :(

i still havent given up yet :o tomorrow i will look for a leak.
If there isnt one what should i investigate?

Everytime I've had a vacuum leak the idle has gone up. Not down.

hmm maybe its not a vac leak. What else could it be? i have been tuning my ve table so that the enrichment is constant around 25kpa and 1000 rpm, but i get the same results from the engine. it feels like its misfiring or one of the injectors isnt squirting.... the engine isnt getting enough spark or fuel.. (when i give it air it hesitates and dies) i will check my plugs to see if all my cold starts may have finally wore then out.

my cat was running fine before ms and now its screwy.. makes me also think its the injectors... who knows?

That may be a large part of your problem, the VE table that comes with megasquirt is for something weird like a chevy 350 (the MSnS-e is a forced induction 350 even)

There should be a "generate table" option under "tools" in the VE table menus. There is in MSnS-e at least, and i'm assuming there is in straight up MS too. That will be far closer to correct then the table 5700cc pushrod v8.

Have you tried generating a VE table for you car. All you need is the power an torque #'s. goto http://www.autotech.com/appchart.htm find your engine code and use those #'s to generate a new table and start from there. Hope this helps.
