so now this ms thingy flashes and pumps so much gas that it drips out of the base of the tbi.

Really need a bit more info..
Have you tried ms on the stim? Do the injectors leak? Try turning the fuel pump on without ms and see if the fuel still appears. Is your tach signal to ms a nice clean signal? Does ms read the correct rpm? Does ms read rpm when not turning over? What led exactly flashes?

I'll have to get back to you , but not tonight as I have school. I think that no lights fire until I get the key to run position. I am running a TBI with a Rochester pn # 8350063. I don't know what flow rate or much else from this unit except it ran a 1.5 liter engine. Maybe I need to buy a new injector.

Do you hear a clicking or buzzing noise from the injector when it is running?
If your injector is stuck open it will just pour gas in when the pump is on.
You might want to post your engine specs and VEX and MS configuration files so the experts here can look at them.

Possibly bad relay

I bypassed the relay (Bosch ) and I fot it to fire up normally, but now it doesn't want to keep running I'll check the fuel pump relay next. I am thinking of doing away with the relays all together and doing switches in the cockpit. Suggestions?

relay's are just a protective measure for switching..

Ex relay can be switched on by negative switching, the relay can then switch on a positive source "of much more amperage", making the switch much safer.

Its never a good idea to do positive and or high amperage switching at the dashboard. This is why relay's were invented..

Its a big switch controlled by a smaller switch.

I would have to advise against it.

constant firing

well my injector seems to have stoped leaking Itightened the hold downs. Now the injector keeps getting the signal to fire even with the enging off. What causes this condition?
I am running out of sunny days and once in three years is not enough to enjoy the hassle of the setup.

Tom,

This is casued by the injector being grounded. It could be because of faulty wiring, a short in the connector (either at the injector, or in the DB37, etc.), or a problem in MegaSquirt itself (though this would keep all the injectors on that bank on all the time).

If this were mine, the first thing I'd do is try the MegaSquirt on the stim. Then you can see if the injector LEDs flahing on both banks, you know MegaSquirt is okay.

Then it's a matter of checking the wiring. If you disconnect the DB37 at MegaSquirt, neither of the injector pins (in the injector conector itself) should be grounded. So you can measure them with a multimeter, and check that the resistance to ground is very high. If it isn't, then you need to follow that wire to find out why - it may be shorting in a connector, it may have burned through somewhere, it may have rubbed through the insulation, etc., etc.
