Manual for V3.83 of Firmware on TunerStudio

Post by underutilized »

Ok so the Help files of TunerStudio MS do not match the screens of TunerStudio MS so is there an actual user manual somewhere that is available?
Is there a software manual for Microsquirt anywhere?

I would be willing to compile an actual usable manual for the Microsquirt Version 3 with MS2 extra Firmware in exchange for a Microsquirt Module

As the documentation currently exists it has too many inaccuracies and conflicting instructions.

Of course I am piqued about the misrepresentation of the Microsquirt Product as a post development product it is not past alpha state.

Lots of hard work has gone into the project I can see, I have wasted 2 weeks of billable time sorting out the false documentation.
Instead of much hate I am willing to give the project some LOVE.
To that end I have intense experience at both pre OBDII GM systems and Development of commercial products.

I will provide a write up of my efforts so that others can benefit from my sojourn through poor documentation hell.

The TunerStudio UI is completely reconfigured for each firmware. So it is very important to use the manual that matches the firmware you are using.

For B&G Base firmware such as 3.83, this manual should be the correct one:

For the most commonly used firmware MS2 Extra, the proper manuals for a microsquirt are found:

With MS2 Extra, the manual is also integrated into the menus and can be referenced while offline.
