Tachometer issues
Since getting my car running, I've tried both IDM output (pin 2 on EDIS module), pin 35 (tach output on uS) and even soldered up my own module with the three diodes as shown on the EDIS page. None of these solutions has worked and I've no idea on how to troubleshoot or find out whether the fault is with the tachometer itself. Where could I start with this?

Re: Tachometer issues
Small picture would help, front and back (showing connections). It's probably current sensing type, and FYI, to work with electronic ignitions you'd have to convert it to voltage sensing traditionally, but I'm sure you could do it with some external electronics now.anonymous.shyster wrote:I'm not sure.
