Is it possible/Feasible
I have a Honda RS 250cc v-twin engine that I want to convert from Carbs to a Fuel Injection system. I have been told by some that it's not possible to fuel inject a two stroke because the oil in the fuel mix ruins the injectors. But I know there are snowmobile's that are two stroke with fuel injection.
It would appear the Microsquirt has the capibility to be programmed to allow it to work, but I am at a loss as to what else I would need or how to design the injection system.
Or am I going about this the wrong way?
Please help me, im so confused.
Joe

Most fuel injectors do not have a problem with oil in the gasoline. RX-7 guys do this all the time.Joseph West wrote:Hello,

The short version is your best bet would be to adapt the fuel system - pump, injectors, throttle bodies, etc - off a factory EFI V-twin with a comparable amount of horsepower. It would appear the Microsquirt has the capibility to be programmed to allow it to work, but I am at a loss as to what else I would need or how to design the injection system.
