Hi, I'm a student at Derby University in the UK, I am installing an EFI system to a current carburetor Global Light for my second year project, I have been looking at Microsquirt as an ideal kit to use, I have delved into Megajolt before and can see this is a tad more complicated.

The Engine is a Yamaha R1, early 20 valve motor.

Throttle bodies to be used are from a GSXR 1000, is there any advice you would give as I'm at the early stage of researching this kit and then will be moving onto the in's and out's.

Could anyone point out the advantages of using this system compared to others such as Emerald, another ECU etc?

Dont worry about boggling my mind with tech talk, i'm all ear's.

Thanks
