The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.
This forum is for discussion of MicroSquirt (TM) from Bowling and Grippo. The MicroSquirt information site is at www.usEasyDocs.com

The latest on the beta testing is on the beta testing thread on this site. Some people had a problem with the VR inputs, and Bruce has provided a board fix to several of the beta testers, These were mailed out last week and should reach people this week. As soon as they test these and we are sure all the hardware works, the rest of the 50 boareds will be made available. It's a matter of how fast people test and whether the tests are a success.

Why wait for the microsquirt for a rotary? Unless you're talking about one of those rare rotary motorcycles? If it's for a car MS-II is likely a better fit.
Edit: Oh, are you going to use the second spark output for the trailing plugs? Now it makes sense.

Forum Admin Team.
Sorry, I forgot about that. Let's keep it closed except by specific request from those who have something ready for testing, at least for a few more weeks until the new patch daughterboard has been distributed and tested on a vehicle. After that, we will be in a better position to get more testers. Bruce has tested the patch board and it works on the bench. I have put in 2 more boards to be soldered and they should be mailed out early next week.
