Firmware HELP PLEASE MS2V3.01

Every time I try to run downloadfirmware.bat it says expected "boot>" but got "" ? The light on my data cable comes on whenever I power the board, but no leds. I tried the hyperterminal and got either " or : depending on which boot terminal i jumped. Its a ms2v3 new assembled from s and f. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You are using the Megasquirt 1 firmware instructions but say you have an Megasquirt 2.
You cannot use MS1 firmware on an MS2.
