Reg. Fuel

Post by 2WHEELENGR »

I set my required fuel for a 1800cc motor but I have only 1300cc's. The reason I did this is, I am turbocharged an feel I should have more fuel. Should I use the Req. Fuel for what the size actually is and let the Map sensor take care of the rest?

Thanks.

2WHEELENGR,

You should use the calculated req_fuel, and use the VE table to add fuel to your desired air/fuel ratio.

That way your datalogs will make more sense to people if you ask them to have a look at them, you'll be able to use other people's settings more easily, and your idle and cruise AFRs are more likely to be right.

Lance.
