How to check ignition timing

im running edis ignition with the 36-1 wheel on my bottom pulley, how do i go about checking my timing with my timing light?

Have you got a timing mark on your flywheel and do you know what degrees it represents?

On mine the timing mark is 6 DBTDC, so I set "fixed angle" to 6 and check the mark lines up with the mark on the casing with the strobe, if not you need to adjust your spark settings (presume it`s still trigger angle when using edis?).

With no MS connected the Edis should revert back to 10 DBTDC (safe Mode) if you`ve lined the wheel up correctly.
