The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. Feel free to search the forums for information, facts, and overview. While the R&D forum traffic has slowed in recent years, this is not at all a reflection of Megasquirt users, which continue to grow year after year. What has changed is that the method of MegaSquirt support today has rapidly moved to Facebook, this is where the vast majority of interaction is happening now. For those not on Facebook the msextra forums is another place for product support. Finally, for product selection assistance, all of the MegaSquirt vendors are there to help you select a system, along with all of the required pieces to make it complete.

is it possible ignore those OEM IAC and achieve stable idling engine speed?
i've dig out the original Auxilary Air Regulator of my 3TC and i have MS II on Ver3 board.
how can i achieve my goal?
I went a few months in winter without idle valve.
You will just have to hold the throtle open manially untill the engine warms up... or set the idle very high so it keeps running when cold.
I finally hooked my fidle valve up and it is much nicer to start now.
The simple on/off type idle valve is quite trivial to hook up compared to the rest of an MS instal. I encourage you to do it now... because you will eventualy
You can also fit an old style choke/starter that opens the trotle manually, and a light to where the IAC must be, and pull the choke while the light is on, and push it when the light turns off.

I had that idea too, then I realised how much easyer it would be to install the fidle valve instead of running a push cable, levers and lights
And probably cost less in parts.
The thing is that my cars at the operating room are so old that already have this installed
Try with a simple canister valve (a very soft and cheap installation as Jedrik states) and if is not sufficient air volume, open a litle the throtle with the idle screw.
