The MegaSquirt Project has experienced explosive growth other the years, with hundreds of new MS installations occurring every week - a phenomenal success! MegaSquirt has been successfully used in all aspects of Internal Combustion engine applications including R&D, Industry, Race, and Research. The MS project has transformed itself from a simple R&D project into a full-featured mature engine control system. To reflect this the support structure has also changed to meet the needs of MegaSquirt Users.
Moving forward, the R&D forums for MegaSquirt project are in a read-only mode - no new forum posts are accepted.
However the forums will remain available for view, they still contain a wealth of information on how MegaSquirt works, how it is installed and used. no...there was one that turbosl1 (other Ian) had put up. It was a 3-d map.
Also, teb. Double check the .msg I load a few posts above. For some reason my MS was set to 5ms of dwell. It should be at 25ms. IDK, maybe I didn't save it or something ??? But, yeah, just check that out.
i just put in sams map. fuel only for now, but i did change some things to get it to start up better and idle a little leaner. his enrichments and startup are great, just some minor changes with cold start up and idle.
only thing i changed was the warm up. richened it up about 10~15% per point. pulled down based idle (on map) and upped the hot startup to 4ms. worked great. no problems when its cold or warm. starts up everytime.
i did use my map, but the idle wasn't far off from sams. i'll be tuning in the next couple of weeks. i'll post up a tuned map for 20psi when i finally do.
Sam, I am just about to try those files you sent over. I haven't had any time to try to get the MS2 to work on the car. I'm hoping to get a couple before and after dynos. Like MS1 dyno, then MS2 dyno fuel only. Then do ms2 before, and ms2 after with ign timing. See what the powah comes out to.
I'm running 20psi now every time i drive the car, it's just a little rich(sub 11:1) once i hit 18psi and up. I need some JW loving on my laptop to help out with that. I still ahve plenty of play room with my 86# injectors. i'll let you guys know what happens
