Zeitronix 2 Wideband AFR Meter
I can't get a good signal out of the sensor, I have connected the wideband output to megasquirt.
It is mostly below 9.6 afr, and when I give gas or riding it swings all the way around, but its never steady.
In the program supplied with zeitronix I see just the same.
What can this be? At first I thaught the sensor wasn't getting hot enough, so I moved it closer. But stil no improvemend.

Unscrew the sensor from the exhaust and leave it in free air, the afr should be 21:1. Have you got the dash mounted display?

But there is something stange, it goes to 25.5 than it start again at 0 and then back, three times, and then it stays on 25.5 (in megatune)
In zeitronix the program, it rises to the max, 21 I think.
I wasn't running rich, The CO was 1.0 and ppm HC 150 or so on idle.
I will try it in free air.
No, i don't have the dash display

The signal was approx. 0.9-0.95v
I set the switching point to 0.85v and used auto tune, and it worked.
But were is the lambda 1 point?? How do you know were to set the switching point? Because this is the only accurate point with a narroband sensor.
Can it be that my other sensor the Wideband lsu is damaged?
this was the first time I used it, it is brandnew, i don't understand it.

The settings in the ini files are okay.
But in the program delivered with zeitronic I see just the same values so the problem isn't there.
Just one question I have.
Normally I have variabel inlet camshaft timing, (28° (before TDC) wihout it, and 60 ° if the coil of it is powered).
Its not connected now, but maybe because of that I have weird readings of EGO and also when I try it on the bench, at full trottle the map begins to swing from 106 to 94 kpa???
I think the best thing is to let megasquirt activate the camshaft at 2000 rpm or map above 90.
Thanks Nick

My car uses to much oil, if you put the trottle down then its all blue smoke, oil gasses.
I have tested the zeitronix in an other car wich has 3 lambdas, I replaced the last one and after the warming up period, it gives a steady 14.7,.
I have put some additives in my engine, just for testing, but i think its not going to work. Next test will be tomorrow.
But I have tuned it on the seat off my pants
