my v-8 is set up for idling at 15:1 but after start enrichment of about 130% is used and the warmup curve is almost 150% at 70 degrees f (21c, sorry, that's the coldest it gets out here during the day, hehe) . before i put these high numbers i played with ve entries for a while, without results.
ve ...

You might want to rethink your reading matching solution. If I understand your setup correctly, your self imposed bias on the O2 signal goes to both your ms box and your afr meter. That means that the ms gets the wrong mixture signal and tries to compensate using arbitrary values as a reference ...

warm up your engine. make sure that there is no warm up compensation. Open up megatune and open tuning-ve. That's where Eric's 4 corners are. read about it in the manual. briefly you can move the location you are working on with the keyboard arrows, then you can either enrich ( press w) or lean out ...

so now i am confused. yes it is a fact that wb is very sensitive and can provide a linear output signal. the big issue is calibration, as each sensor requires an individual tweak in order to provide an output comparable to a standardized scale. and the question still is:
how well calibrated are the ...

i had the same problem with mstweak, it could not find many crossover points in my logs. But VexMe did, it also let me make my own afr table before taking in a log and spitting out a corrected ve table (for the points found in the log).
i guess that's one more piece of software to play with:)
try ...

T3Bunny,
a few posts back you were talking about sensor accuracy and you used the example of a 14.68 vs 14.72 reading. The difference between them is only 0.04, which corresponds to a 0.27% error { [14.72-14.68]*100/14.72}. Such precision is almost laboratory quality and far above the precision of ...

I reread this thread. The real conclusion seems to be that a nb sensor is just fine for all applications, however it should be easier to be safe with a wb in a turbo application. As one gains some experience in tuning, it is not necessarily better to use a wb. Actually my feeling is that wb is not ...

I know nothing about the different wb setups in the market, however the zeitronix is sold with a stated accuracy of +/- 0.1 units in AFR. But that might be just "marketeering", aimed at pulling in customers. I wish that Eric could make a comment on this accuracy/calibration thing, with all his work ...

Thanks for the great comments, experts please keep them coming. Regarding wb calibration, a complete kit like Zeitronix "should" come calibrated, correct? Other than that, the only thing I can go by is a pair of logs, the "last" nb log and the first wb log, both were recorded using the same VE table ...
