can i use the 1 coil per cylinder setup as on the modern sport bikes with the megasquirt 1 V3.0 board,
its had all the mods to run the crank angle sensor on a mazda mx5 (miata) (the dsm mods)

its firmware is the 029q2 ms+se

if i can, would i wire it any differently than standard?

does anyone know if megasquirt would allow me to use a coil on plug setup instead of ht leads (i have a full set off a yamaha R1) they gave 6bhp increase on my dads mates sidecar racer on the dyno, so wondering if i can use the same setup on my mx5, would deffo be better than leads.

i cant afford the ms at the mo, and i need the noise and extra power.
i have the scematic now to invert the signal from the map sensor to the same signal as the std afm would give. so the ecu will function as std but will adjust the timing and fuel for the extra air from the itb's, i will also be ...
