edis question

Unless I misunderstand... 'ain't gonna happen'. You want one coil pack per bank. You will need to work it out, though.

A 90 deg crank V8 will have an odd cadence and will require wires to swap banks to get a wasted spark firing order regardless of ford, chry, buick, etc. a flat crank (180 deg ...

MS-II 8cyl COP Wasted Spark

I am running MSnS-E 029q2 with 4 spark outputs on my 4 cyl and James is running it on his V8 with 4 vb921s I am pretty sure.

Wiring up 8 vb921s to drive 8 COP units from 4 spark outputs (COP units driven as Wasted Spark) is documented somewhere in the MSnS-E forum.

As Scott says, the ECU (MS or EEC) should be varying the pulsewidth not the amplitude. Something looks fishy, As he said, it should be a nice square wave with either ECU.

Hardware setup for Hall sensor/LED17/Bosch Mod 139-PWM Idle

1) stimulator works just fine with that modification to the input
2) try both and see which is better. I did some measurements of the dizzy wheel and determined that the OE bosch dizzy produced a 60% DC pulsetrain. I also noted that my dwell control with 50% and 75% was not as consistent on the ...

Hardware setup for Hall sensor/LED17/Bosch Mod 139-PWM Idle

You got it! Except that you use pin 36 only if you are using a V3 board, with a V2.2 board, pin 36 is not connected to anything and you use pin 25 (connected to X11) for the output and pin 24 for the input. The v3 board is already configured like schematic 2 except that it does not have a pullup for ...

No, It connects to the hole that used to be the R10 resistor just as it is shown in the diagram I linked to.

Hardware setup for Hall sensor/LED17/Bosch Mod 139-PWM Idle

Ok, I think I understand, now.

Depending on what you want to do, you can still wire it as it would have been in a stock install to keep the wiring to the MS simpler. If you need a wiring diagram for a 139/124 stock install showing how they powered the hall sensor:

This one shows a 139 module ...
