Most injectors will corrode very quickly. I was wondering about Flex Fuel injectors - if they are stainless steel to deal with the high-concentration of ethanol, they might work, right?

Alfa SPICA throttle bodies. 40mm butterfly diameter. Bore centers about 9cm apart.

I have run into similar situations, and a stronger return spring usually did the trick. You might look at the combination of a stronger spring and a higher leverage pull or a cammed initial pull like the old 944 Porsches, etc.

If you are doing the M10 engine, Ken Danielson had the idea to use Alfa Spica throttle bodies on the lower 77-79 intake manifold, making a simple flat adapter plate. Looks fairly straightforward. I actually have some Spica throttle bodies, they are 40mm and bore centres basically line right up.
