Re: Motorcycle fuel pump sources?

The Honda Rincon 680 ATV external fuel pump is a good choose. It draws about 1-1.5 amps, and includes a surge tank, fuel filter and integrated 43 psi pressure regulator. Part number 16700-HN8-A62, it goes for about $110-150.

I have had good luck using a wideband O2 for tuning a two-stroke. I am sure the sensor will not last nearly as long as it would in a 4-stroke application, but certainly long enough for many hours of tuning. They are heated hot enough to burn deposits off. The motor never ran vey well leaner than ...

I looked at your MSQ file. Since you are using MegaSquirt 1, the MAPdot does not apply for your acceleration enrichment. Try going from 2 squirts to 4 squirts. Four squirts seems to work better in most V8s. Also set, your EGO correction limit to around 1500 RPMs. Most engines I have tuned like the ...

I had a similar problem with my 383 TBI setup, it has cam that never liked to idle bellow 900 RPMs. Even with the idle high it would stall going from park to drive. I ended up richening up the low rpm, high load (upper left) area of the VE table quite a bit. I also tuned the low RPM parts of the ...

I got another Q for you if you feel like helping me some more,
The original ECM had base ignition timing set to zero (on the distributor with ECM controle disconnected), and advance was predicted when re-connected to the ECM. Does mega squirt do the same thing, or am I supposed to set the ...

The 50cc Hondas sold in the states do not have fuel injection. I know the one in Japan are.

Low resistance injectors are OK? I thought I read somewhere that they strain the board.

As long as you have the correct hardware setup, i.e. fly back dampening setup installed on the MegaSquirt board.

The older v2.2 MegaSquirt board had problems with 8 low imp. injectors, but there is a fly ...

Re: Am I buying the right stuff? 1UZFE into '77 celica

I was hoping to use the rest of the toyota stock sensors.

With the MegaSquirt II, it is easy to setup sensors with different temp/resistance curves. You might search the forum to see if some one has the resistance valve used for the Toyota sensors, other wise you can pull them and measure the ...

The holley part # 502-20S, is a 670cfm TBI with 85 lb injectors. Similar to the GM 454 2" TBI unit but without and IAC stepper. It has an adjustable pressure regulator, a fast idle solenoid, and barb fitting for the fuel inlet and return. I suppose the body could be drilled out to accept a standard ...
