As a general rule of thumb, all "new" injectors (that is, a new design not a new OEM part) will be low impedance. This allows for PWM to be used and that's the preferred method for current limiting.

You might consider a two-stage injection scheme with MS&S-E... then you can use low-impedance 50lb ...

I think the Remote IAC housing is probably the more simple way to go... at least you're positive that each SU is getting the same airflow. If one IAC stuck and the other didn't that could cause some driveability problems.

Your biggest challenge will be providing the current required to drive a high-pressure fuel pump.

Finding very small injectors will be difficult as well.

Look into motorcycle parts, or some of the new Honda EFI scooters. I think you'll find that even these "bikes" have an alternator of sorts that ...

Re: Dizzy and Vaccum

...if retaining the distributor then the vaccum needs to be disabled. I have a points dizzy, with the points taken out and replaced with one of the Aldon Ignitor units and using the low tension coil side (i,e from Aldon ignitor) for tach signal

I will be upgrading to spark control at a later date ...

I don't think they're ready to announce a release date. If they were, they would have!

As MrBell points out, the beta testing is in progress (though very limited) and when B&G & company are satisfied, they'll make an announcement.

In the meantime, why is MicroSquirt your ECU of choice? Surely ...

You're welcome to post whatever experiences/problems/successes you may have while tuning. Don't beg for interaction and be open to suggestions. You'll have a pretty good idea how much interest there is if you watch the "viewed" count.

It's an interesting concept but I wouldn't expect much more than ...

Re: Sequential Fuel Injection on V3???

as far as the ultra, i hadn't been able to find it the last time i was looking, but i thought that they were closing up the last few details for the board a few months ago?

That board was a revision to the standard MegaSquirt PCB... it's called V3.0

i haven't heard anything about a router board ...

Re: Fuel rail pressure feedback controll system to replace..

...I was told that a latest model ford focus used this principal, but then i was lucky enough to score the wiring drawings for the whole model range and found that only the diesel models use this form of fuel pressure control...

All post-2002 U.S. Spec Zetec (2.0L) motors use a returnless fuel ...

Re: Sequential Fuel Injection on V3???

I'm not hearing very many good points on the claimed sequential fuel injection for the v3, please someone tell me different if i'm really wrong. but so far all i have heard is that it is either banked or batched, either is unacceptable for what i need it for in the end - direct injection H2 for ...
