2nd trigger/cam input via Hallsensor on Microsquirt module?
Short question:
How should I hook up a 2nd triger signal coming from a hall sensor to the µsquirt module?
The sensor is a 12V Bosch open collector type, i.e. it will switch an applied voltage to GND or provide a 12V/0V square signal if a pullup resistor is applied.
At MS2 the manual requires a ...

Re: sensitivity/max load of IGN output
I just took a 2N2222 with a 1kOhm pull up and it works fine.
Thx for the response.

Flyback Diode on FP out?
Just one short question: I would lile to use the FP out to switch the fuel pump relay. Should I set a diode in order to protect the FP port from the high flyback voltage coming from the relay coil?

Re: sensitivity/max load of IGN output
In my further applications I always used a 1k Pull-Up to provide a clean square signal to the ignitor module. Probably some kind of overkill, bit this works fairly well. I ...

sensitivity/max load of IGN output
I would like to convert a SPI injected engine to MS, using the new microsquirt module.
I am a little bit hesitating about how to hook up the ignition coil to the system:
I am using an "active driven coil" Bosch type, something similair to
