Re: No/Wrong AFR reading in TunerStudio running @ JimStim

When I installed the latest TunerStudio I had the same issue (i.e. no rear/write/exe rights on all files in the TS-directory).
I had to fix it by chmod -R 777 *, but now it works.

And Ubuntu 11.04 is an issue to be discussed.
After installation the default GUI made me pu.... errrrr I mean I needed ...

Re: No AFR read with Mircosquirt

Problem resolved.

I used WinMerge (a file comparism tool) to check msq's that had the AFR running against that one that has not.

Found the EGO control was the cause.
As I have a twostroke and I don't have the O2 sensor in all the time I wanted to deactivate the ego control, so I put that to ...

Re: No AFR read with Mircosquirt

Latest Updates:
Calibrating with the "free" entry 0V = 9 and 5V = 19 also did not work.

I hooked the Mirosqirt to the stim and there you also have no AFR read.
In the past I actually had that problem when using TunerStudio on Ubuntu Linux. Unfortunately I can't recall the exact solution; for sure ...

Re: No AFR read with Mircosquirt

I'm using a TechEdge WB and I have chosen that option in the drop-down menue of the AFR calibration as well as in the ini-section of the project.

No AFR read with Mircosquirt

Hi Folks,
I have run into an issue that I can't resolve on my own ad I'd need some good ideas/hints.

On my last log I had no AFR signal and so I checked everything on the bike and the sensor / controller.

- WB sensor and controller work. Confirmed on the stim with my "old" V2.2 MSI. AFR read is 19 ...

Re: No/Wrong AFR reading in TunerStudio running @ JimStim

Hi Phil, here's the current status.

- Uninstalled Open JDK, Downloaded from Sun again and this time followed the instructions word by word.
(Ubuntu makes a difference from the commands "./xxx.bin" or "xxx.bin" which both work under RedHat. That was the reason for failing to install before)
- Using ...

Re: No/Wrong AFR reading in TunerStudio running @ JimStim

Ok found the right way. I was told to use
Tools Calibate AFR Table
which in IMHO not very intuitive as I'd have searched under Tools Sensor Calibration, but that's not the topic here ..
(Please forgive my ignorance here, as I'm mainly used to MSI before)

Next problem: The burn fails; the table is ...

No/Wrong AFR reading in TunerStudio running @ JimStim

Hi folks,
I have hooked up my Microsquirt V2 (running MS II 2.886) to a JimStim and there's following problem:

- Created new project in TunerStudio. Specified TechEdge Linear as WB sensor.
- Hooked up the Microsquirt and here was no AFR change when turning the 02 poti.
- Checked O2 Voltage on stim ...

Re: Megatune 2.25p3 strange behaviour

USB-Adapter, but as I said - this device is working fine with the very same Stim and the MS I.
Only thing I did was change the settings for the baud rate.
