Re: Another Alpha N question

Just looking through the updates in the V2.889 Code (Microsquirt remeber) & the fuelling is derived :

When this is done, then the fuel pulse width is:

PW = Req_Fuel * .............. * MAP(kPa x10)/ Baro(kPa x10)...

So does this mean that if I select Alpha N & don't do a speed density ...

Another Alpha N question

Hi,

I'm currently working on a microsquirted GSXR1100 Turbo. I'm grappling with the fuelling algorithm choice. I'm sure that the SD based setup won't work on my application as I have ITBs & the turbo meaning MAP will saturate pretty quickly at low speeds hence I think I need to be loking towards ...

Thanks for the responses.

When I said barbed I did mean the fuel inlet unions. I have a tubular fuel rail which has stubs to take the short flexi tubes. It's easier to stich with the hardware I already have rather than spend time rengineering (me being lazy!)

The injectors I am using are Nissan ...

Thanks for the reponse, I've managed to find the data sheet for the sensor I am using (APS 02/03) which gives the info I need for Megatune.

Thnaks again!

High or Low Imp Injectors with resistors??

Right then,

I'm sure this topic has been done to death by many people.....but here we go!

I'm going to be running Microsquirt on a bike. I needed injectors with the barbed type of fuel pipe connection. This limits me to older Japanese style injectors which are all low imp. I ran low imp on my car ...

Microsquirt GSXR1100 Turbo

Hi,

Newbie post i'm afraid....I've got a Microsquirt ECU winging it's way to me as we speak (I've been eagerly awaiting the launch for about 2 years!).

The Bike is an old ('86) GSXR11 with the later ('91) 1127 motor. It also has individual thottle bodies, fabricated plenum, blow thru turbo setup ...

Re: Optimal time for injector to squirt.

I will be converting a Japanese motorcycle to microSquirt some day. Its timing pickups are on the crank so if I use them to control the mS the injector will fire just before the intake stroke and just before the power stroke which will not immediately be taken into the cylinder. I guess this works ...

Batch Size??

There seems to be quite a few people waiting fo the launch of Microsquirt.....what size is the initial batch & is it likely that supply will meet demand? Just wondered if there is a pre order option or anything?

Eager to get my bike up & running!!

Still on track?

Sorry to be impatient....but......does anybody know if the build & testing phase is still on track?? I've got a blow thru turbo'd GSXR1100 that is engine management less!! Really hoping the Microsquirt is going to be available soon as I don't have enough free space to fit any other ECU!! Guess that ...
