Well I changed the TPSDOT number down to 1.2 and the accel period to 1.0s (as in the help) and the problem has decreased significantly, enough to make me feel fine about it and focus on tweaking the rest of my tables.

Now I'm curious as to why autotune isn't correcting enough! Anyhoo, I suggest to ...

Interesting points, I didn't know much about lag settings, but that makes a lot of sense. My TPS initially was a little off, meaning I could depress the throttle approx 5% and it wouldn't register anything. The lean spikes seemed as if they were more frequent when the TPS was setup like that, but ...

Stock wrote:sounds like you need more acceleration enrichment
I assume acceleration enrichment would help for "blipping" but would that also help between shifts?

What value should I increase in megatune? the PW or the % and how much of a value do I need to change to notice a difference?

Thanks!

Lean spikes...

I've got my car running pretty well right now with MS2 with tuning care of the LC1. I am however having lean spikes between shifts and whenever I blip the throttle quickly. At first I thought it was the TPS but I've checked it a few times and there is instant activity once I press the throttle open ...

VE tables and kPa values for a boost

On a turbo application, I created my initial VE table by generating based off hp/tq and displacement and kPa inputs. The table then gets generated ranging from the lowest kPa rating (0 or 20kPa for idle) to 180kPa (my boost pressure, 0.8bar).

Now lets say I burn that to the ECU, turn the car off ...

MSII v3 - Running wideband, wierd Lambda readings

Hi guys, I've got an LC1 and just started running the car with megatune (less than 15 minutes running so far). I programmed the LC1 to stock settings, narrowband analog out going to original ECU (controlling spark) and wideband analog out going to megasquirt. In the configurator, I have selected ...

Ok, did I mentioned I am MEGAconfused????

Step 51 states
As we noted in step 50, there are two input circuits for the tach signal. One takes the square wave input from a hall sensor, optical sensor, or points.
In most cases, you should install both circuits, and make the selection ...

OK. Thanks! I will then complete 50b and 51, and jumper accordingly according to step 52. Last questions:

STEP 50-a-v: If you have a Hall sensor or optical sensor, do not install D1, put a jumper in its place.

I assume if I want to be able to go from a hall sensor to negative coil trigger, I ...

richiea,

If you use the Hall input, there are a few components you leave out that you should install if you are using the coil negative terminal.

So when switching from the coil negative terminal to a Hall input, you need to remove those components. There's more in the manual about this.

Lance ...
