Running very good w/ autotune, buuut

I have the fuel pressure too low. It's only set at 32#'s when it should be at 42#'s. My Req Fuel and VE table are tuned for the wrong fuel pressure. Is there a calculation I can make to adjust everything at once so it will still run good? I tried to up the pressure to where it belongs and it just ...

Here's a pretty scary datalog

mat and clt pegged, boost went as high as 169 kpa (about 9.8#'s) at only 85% tps. But, it looks like datapoints went up and down when they were supposed to. MY LC-1 came in today, so I forgo any further testing until I have it up and running properly.

Let the thrashing begin

Can I run a lower temp Tstat than stock?

The stock one runs at 205 F. To my recollection, the stats are high for better emissions. It shouldn't be a problem to put in a lower one if I'm controlling the fuel and spark now anyway, right?

no intercooler

still has stock 205 F thermostat. Thinking of trying a 180 F and that might bring temps down. Test drove the other night an I think it was pegged at 214.9 under boost, so that's not good. May have to do some reconfiguring to get it right.

Well the sensor is at the bottom of the intake plenum and the blower discharges directly at it. I hadn't thought of heat soak, but it responds quickly to changes in map, so it would seem to be sensing the air temp properly.

yes, on cold startup, the sensor reads a reasonable ambiant temp. I wouldn't think an mat of close to engine temp is outside the norm, just want to know what others are getting.

How high can MAT go?

Here's the standard shpeel -

MS-II v3 spark and fuel
4.6L DOHC aluminum Ford modular motor
multiport w/ roots type supercharger
street use, stock bottom end, low boost

OK,
It's rouighly running and driving, but thats ok, wb o2 on the way. It's good enough to test drive and work some bugs out ...

Lance,
Thanks for the heads up. Thats what I needed to know. Better off running duplicate temp sensors anyway probably. just get the GM for the MS and keep the ford for the stock EEC.

Think I'll try to piggyback the TPS though, that could get weird if I had to hook up two.

Questions on piggybacking Ford ECU w/ MS-II

I have the MS-II v3 built and tested. I'm going to run fuel and EDIS-8 off the MS-II. I have the R470W transmission (electronic control) that I was going have controlled by the stock Ford EEC-IV. Everything will be seperate and I've figured out the wiring for transmission and stock EEC. BUT, I'm ...
