I haven't talked to anyone who has rigged up an internal pump on an older car like that. Most people (myself included) seems to end up with an external pump. As you note, the opening on the Chevelle tank is quite small, plus the tank is not very tall. By the time you hang a pump on there, you're ...

Without seeing a datalog, I would have to guess the VE table is wrong too. If you can crack the throttle *slowly* to get it up to 2000 RPM, then your values at 20-30kpa and 1000-2000 RPM are close. If you crack the throttle quickly and it dies, then the values at, say 70-90kpa and 1000-2000 RPM are ...

I've had a lot of trouble with my LC-1 and the AFR gauge flickering around too, to the point of being useless. I popped my NB back in so I could at least use MSTweak, as I had good results the first time around with the NB/MSTweak combo to get my new engine combo dialed in.

I'm pretty sure you're ...

Thats the trouble.. the WB that is connected to the MSII goes from 26.xx to 10.5. It flops back and forth.. So I dont trust it.. And yes I did select the Innovate LC1...

Dick

I think you need to configure the LC1's controller with Innovate's software, in addition to choosing the Innovate option ...

Surging is usually caused by a lean condition. Have you looked at what the EGO (of AFR) gauage is reading when the car surges?

i

on the dual table it started making sense, for a bit i thought i could use 2 tables to expand the 12x12 to 24x24 but after the mega manual, replies and other posts i know get the design of the dual purpose function.

If the 2nd VE table could be triggered by a combination of, say, TPS & RPM ...

Here's a timing curve that I got from a Chevy High Performance article written by Jeff Smith in the past few years. It's purely an advance-vs-RPM chart, so you'll have to come up with the vacuum advance area.

Also, you probably don't want to use Dual Table on V8 with 1 injector per cylinder. I ...

Make sure that your trigger wheel is attached to the centre of the damper not outside the elastomer part or it will give somewhat erratic timing.
James
Also consider that it's known for the outside to shift considerably over time. Been working with matts tvr/rover v8, his outer damper (and hence ...

well its obvious, the dummie behind the wheel never actually rev'd it over 2K RPM's. How annoying.

Lets hear that puppy sing!
